Time Management has been around for a very long time and at its most basic it is extremely simple. All that you have to do is rearrange the ways in which you work and to use the time that you save as you choose!
We tend to muddle through our lives fitting in competing and often growing demands. Some things demand a fixed amount of time such as work, college or pre-arranged activities. Other things get squeezed in where we can with a hope that everything will get done.
Often we are left feeling exhausted, frustrated, stressed or forever trying to catch up. There never seems enough time for what we need or want to do. Both home and work life can suffer as we desperately look for more time.
Time Management can help to overcome these feelings. It doesn't have to be rigid or inflexible. It isn't about endless lists or plans. It does free you to get on with what is important and can help to restore a feeling of control.
By using some of the material in this LEARNING POD you can add to what you have already learnt on the course you attended. You can choose to refresh yourself on certain topics or to pursue certain areas in more depth.
We strongly recommend that you start with the Time Questionnaire especially if you find time management techniques difficult or uncomfortable.
We also provide LINKS to other related sites and topics for further study.
