This course is for those who have completed the Introduction to Access Course or who have at least created their own tables and a few basic forms using Access.
This course focuses on how to using queries and reports, enabling you to find data easily and show statistics as numbers or graphs.
This course covers:
- An overview of how tables, queries and reports link together.
- Experience and understanding of using the ‘Query by Example’ grid to select just the data you want.
- Experience and understanding of how different data types affect the statistics.
- Experience and understanding of using the ‘report wizard’ to produce graphs, reports and mailing labels based on your queries and tables.
- Experience and understanding of how to customise your graphs and reports.
- Experience and understanding of how to combine queries to produce a full set of statistics.
- An overview of all the types of queries in Access and what they can be used for.
- It is recommended (but not essential) that participants also attend Intermediate Access Part A – Tables and Forms.
